Process to fetch data from ecourts:
Users can search for the cases registered under a particular section on the eCourts portal. Though this is a helpful feature, we must say that the lack of standardisation practices leads to a cases being tagged under completely different sections, or if the case is tagged correctly, the tags themselves are not standardised.
To mitigate the above discrepancies, we followed a slightly different route:

About case registrations
Section 66A was declared uncontitutional by the Supreme Court on March 24, 2015. There are a lot of stories on the internet about this landmark decision taken by the Supreme Court, but we still see a lot of cases being registered under this zombie section of the IT act.
